- Current Research: Visual Segmentation Based Data Record Extraction from Web Documents
- Description: The purpose of Amber and Dr. Li’s project is to develop an algorithm to extract the semantic structure of Web pages. It will simulate how a user understands Web layout structure based on visual perception such as font sizes, colors, blanks, images, etc. This project can be used to retrieve information from semi-structured Web pages as well as to eliminate clutter from the Web pages.
