Google, Inc. will be hosting the 2009 Computing Alliance of Hispanic-Serving Institutions (CAHSI) 3rd Annual Meeting.

WHAT: CAHSI 2009 ANNUAL MEETING
WHEN: JANUARY 15 – 18, 2009
WHO: Any Computer Science Students at TAMUCC approved to attend. (M
andatory event for all BPC and MII fellows.)
THEME: ”Developing the Next Generation of Leaders through Mentoring”
LOCATION: Google Headquarters, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA

DO YOU WANT TO ATTEND? All expenses paid: Airfare, Food, Hotel. Follow the 2 simple steps below:

   2 .  In order to attend, you must be presenting a poster. To present a poster, you must submit a short paper (Less than 4 pages). To successfully submit your paper for consideration, you must send it to liza.wisner@tamucc.edu before Monday November 10, 2008Below there are samples of a short paper and a poster template.

CALL FOR POSTERS: The CAHSI Alliance invites graduate and undergraduate students to submit proposals for the Posters and Panels. Below are documents with Calls for Participation for both Panels and Posters Sessions.  Also , there is a template for the posters and an example of a short paper.  CAHSI will provided travel support for the students selected to make poster or panel presentations.
